Checking in and a mouse

Lady at Court

This little mouse isn't really for anything special, but is the first thing I've been able to paint in almost two weeks, so thought I'd post her here. What do y'all think about putting little spot characters like this in a portfolio? Or are pieces with more interaction better I suppose? This one might be a little too licensing-y.
I've been swamped with typing, life & family drama these days, not much painting time. Starting to get antsy about having no painting time!

I love your little mouse. I think this could work nicely for a spot illustration for a magazine as well as a licensing type of image.
I can totally relate to the dealing with chaotic life and trying to paint.

I like it! the mouse has an interesting pose, and I like that several parts of the picture break the framing.

All I can really say is that I like it. Very nice rendering of the costume - you can see the puffiness of the puffy dress part.

Another great costume! The wardrobe is always so great -always!

I think the shadows pushed underneath the character could be pushed a bit more. Other than that, I'd say it's pretty polished.

She has such dainty little "fingers" and a thought-provoking expression. It truly has character!

Hang in there...you'll get your painting time...
