another cat and dog drawing

I don't know if you remember me posting a picture of the cat and dog in the trunk as a plane flying marshmallows towards the sun...well that was their imagination - and this is the reality.  I finally got around to drawing and coloring it.

This is really cute. I am a bit distracted by the tail of the squirrel. It Is pretty impressive. I wonder if this is what is really happening vs imagining if they would be in the same positions as in the other image. I am just wondering if imagination vs real would translate better that way???
(although it's not nec. the same moment)
I am a big fan of your little charcters!

I like this one because there are interesting objects around to search out, from flags on the mailbox and varying flower types, to distant objects. All that makes it feel very complete. I also like the characters and the grass texture.

I don't see any tangents...WAIT! The tip of the second fence tip on the left tangents the tree trunk, right? :) Joking of course...that's very minor.

I could see maybe pushing the shadows a bit more (on the characters and on the ground) but that may be a matter of taste.

Great work!

Nice, Isaac, I like the interaction and expressions here!

I agree with Patti a little on the tail, and would like to see some shadow action going on, like Pete. Well, basically just under the white kitty, really. There is one shadow that is throwing me off, on the wall of the bigger house from the tree leaf bunch above the white kitty. It just doesn't conform to the flatness of the house wall. But these are all nit-picks, since the overall painting is really well done.

thanks for the comments guys! I finally have time to revise this one, and I'm doing it based on your suggestions!
