And it completely snuck up on me. I was able to get this piece finished over the weekend - and I have to get it printed by some time tuesday. Hopefully at least one of you will read this and critique it - is there anything I missed?
It's IG-88...
I meant to do something spectacular for the group show - to stand out...something with my own characters, but then I got it into my head to do IG-88...and this is what I spent all my time on...any suggestions?

IG-88 is bigger in the movie with really long arms and legs.
Just kidding. This is funny. Did you see the Robot Chicken vision of IG-88? He was daydreaming of dunking a basketball. Good luck at the show.
Thanks Steve! The Robot Chicken Star Wars (just like Family Guy Star Wars) are dam funny. I can't get into regular Robot Chicken, but they're spot on with their Star Wars...
I can't believe I did this - to get this jpg, I merged all my layers, changed it to rgb, and lowered it to 72 dpi...and somehow I saved this low res version over my final photoshop painting. So that's all I have now. It's horrible to spend all weekend on a painting and then jack it up in the course of 2 minutes...
Ouch, Isaac! Can't tell you how many times I've come this close to doing the save you describe. I feel your pain.
Here's how I avoid that very thing (cause we've all done it) Name the file when you start the thing
IG-88 working.
When you are done save it and then save it again as
IG-88 final
Then when you want to save it to the web go to file save for web. Hope this helps.
