it has a light and whimsical feel to it! I like how the tail wraps around the back, but I feel that it's too close to the leg, so it's almost resting on the knee and that flattens out the character a little.
And the clouds are so light and fluffy...I tried to do that with my turtle piece, but I think your clouds are more successful!
well first off, my 4 year old loves this painting! he thought the idea of cooking a hot dog this way was pretty hilarious! great take on the word...
i agree that it has a nice, whimsical style and agree about the cloud effect 100%.
i feel like something about his foremost leg anatomy is a bit off. maybe the thigh should overlap the leg below the knee. it seems reversed. and, i think the tail got tapered too quickly.
you did a great job on the flames and i like how the left side of the hot dog looks just slightly charred. that's just how i like it!
