I've been doing work for licensing lately. This image will be a flag next Spring. I've also been working on dummies for my book agent in hopes that she will find them homes. Nothing yet but I am working on a new one now. Hope everyone is is busy with lots of work!

How do you know what it is that you'll do for licensing? Do you choose what it'll do - or does your agent get requests? And wouldn't this illustration work well as a collectible plate as well? Or napkins?
This is all watercolors. This was for a client that I work directly with and had bought a bunny design already that is doing well, so I knew they wanted another. He also lets me know what they might be looking for in their line, so I have a bit of direction. My agent also sends me trend info and I talk to her about subject matter as well. She goes to the shows and sees what is out there so I appreciate her input. Sometimes companies send lists of what they are looking for .

very nicely done, patti! my kids really liked it when i showed them. my dauther (1 and a half years old) screamed "bunnies!" and was quick to notice the "budderfly" :)
