Love the details in this. The knives and the tiles in the background are wonderful.

I wish his eyes were a bit bigger so the expression could be seen easier. It's priceless.

You have some wonderful things going on here. I love the texture of the fur and your background is really great. I am wondering if you could put more white in the eye and maybe make the pupil a little bigger. I think there is something about the lid being at the bottom of his eye that I would take away.

This is terrific! Great character and so solidly drawn!

Darn it, I'm trying to find something to critique, but nothing is coming out. I love the popsicle tongue - and the character has so much dimension with all the overlapping shapes that seem to work well together. And great textures (on the fur, on the tiles, on the wood table the bear is leaning on, and pretty much everything else).

Anyway - keep up the good work!

This is your best image yet! I think this has a strong design to it and the characters is warm and really fun to look at. Good job man. I would do two more images with this same character and use it as postcard images to get work and for your portfolio pieces.

thanks, everyone. i'm in the process of revamping/redoing the whole portfolio in oils, and i like the idea of carrying this character further - you all are on to something! i think i have a good 3 part idea so we'll see what happens!
