So whatcha think of this one, eh?

I don't know what I should be working on, so i did this...I think I might use it as a postcard, but maybe not...

This is a great idea for an illustration. I really love the expression on the grey and white character. I get the feeling that he is really bursting with excitement. The fox looks really calm in comparison and has managed to keep his box-like shape in tact. Have you considered distorting his shape too? The shape on the parachute seems tubular. I would consider changing the shape so that it is less of a focal point here. Great work, it is going to be an awesome illustration.

Cool illustration. I like the composition. The parachute seems a bit phallic though. Could be an add for Trojan condoms.

Oh, by the way. I think this would be a good postcard. It's very bright and eye catching.

A Trojans postcard? I tried to keep the parachute from looking like anything else...maybe it should have been more umbrella like...

What's funny is that I read that comment just after I finished my sketch for the second part of this illustrative series (the panda is in a tree with his chute deployed...and THAT totally, now that you've said it looks like an open condom)...

But I'll just hope that you and I are the only ones that think so...

umm...too late Isaac. You see Steve was blunt with it. I said it was "tubular".

I like the size changes from the sketch in that the fox became bigger. I like the shape on Panda too...I have to agree though about the rawwwthhher large penial chute...:) Umbrella shape would be good and it would great for a postcard when you get it done. :)

Hey Isaac.

For me, the characters feel a bit too vertical. I'd be interested to see how they'd look if you rotated them more (particularly the panda). Might bring even more movement although the vertical lines to reinforce the whole "drop" feel.

Anyway, that's my two cents. I really like the perspective of the plane and the detail of the open door (and what appears to be another character getting ready to bail out).
