IF Pattern - WIP

Sketched this tonight. I'm so excited because I've wanted to do a Princess and the Pea illustration for YEARS and now have an excuse to do so. :D Each mattress and blanket, including the wall will have a pattern on it. Only the princess will not. I'm not entirely sold on the window. Let me know if it works or not. If not, any suggestions on how to say it's night time would be great. Remember, she's on tons of mattresses so she's pretty high up in the room. :)

Green Eyed Sue

Happy New Year everybody. This is an image I've been working on for a while. She's supposed to be about 14 yo and a pirate.

She will have a Jolly Roger waving behind her and a ship's wheel in her forward hand (which isn't drawn yet.)

I am toying with completing the image in Illustrator but may decide to do watercolor, which I use for most of my work.
