This is an image I have that I thought would fit the Contagious theme for Illustration Friday. I am of the mind that laughter is contagious. This is for a story that I wrote that needs some extensive rewriting. In other words it is in the procrastination pile.

I like how the hair works in with the clouds, but it might be fun to color their hair, to set it apart a little. You know how sometimes older ladies dye their hair and it turns out pink? Or blue? It might be fun to put a tinge in their hair.
Definitely works well with the contagious theme.

The lady on the left (viewers left) her hair is blending with the clouds. I think the pink in her hair is the same as the clouds in the air. Hey, that rhymed.
Thanks for your comments.When I did this I actually did the people first and then added the sky and clouds. I intentionally made the clouds similar to the hair. There is a bit more room at the top of the image. I do think the one on the left is more like the clouds than the one on the right. It probably has to do with the lavender in her hair and the blue in the other as well as the general shape.
I still like it! I think the expressions are great and really portray the connection between these gals! I also like how the clouds mirror the hair-dos...clever!
