They usually want to leave the bottom 1.5" blank for the postal reasons. A front and Back full color postcard would be awesome though. I'll bet if yo...I think this is a clever idea! I'll bet if you put some gradient shine (and/or shadow) into the "paper" torn edges it would really give a feeling of dimensional paper ripping. I like the idea of having their world coming through on the other side.
